Why build with an Atlantic maker
Lead times you can plan around. Most residential orders are ready about two weeks after measure. Large projects are scheduled by phase and floor, with dates confirmed in writing.
One accountable team. Site measure, production, install and deficiency follow-up handled by the same company. One named project coordinator.
Specification support. Spec sheets, fabric performance data, fire-rating certificates where applicable, samples and mock-ups.
Local service after handover. Replacements and repairs from the people who made them, a short drive away, not a 1-800 number.

Frequently asked questions
Does Atlantic Shades do commercial window coverings?
Yes. Atlantic Shades supplies and installs commercial window coverings across Atlantic Canada for multi-unit residential, offices, retail, hotels, healthcare, education and institutional projects. Products are made in our Halifax workshop, which gives more predictable lead times than imported commercial blinds.
Do you provide spec sheets and fire-rated fabrics?
Yes. We provide spec sheets and fabric performance data, and fire-rated fabrics tested to NFPA 701 and CAN/ULC-S109 are available on request for projects that require them.
Can you work to a general contractor's schedule?
Yes. We schedule site measures after windows and drywall are complete, produce by phase, and install floor by floor in coordination with the site superintendent.
Do you bid on public tenders?
Yes. We respond to tenders for public and institutional projects in Atlantic Canada and work as a subcontractor to general contractors on larger builds.
