Middle Sackville is the newer side of Sackville: subdivisions built from the 1990s onward up the Old Sackville Road and around the high school, with two-storey family homes, larger lots and steady new construction. It is a young-family community, and the requests show it.
Blackout for nurseries and kids' rooms. Nothing with cords. Something modern-looking for the open-plan main floor. And done quickly after move-in.
What we fit most here: zebra blinds or light-filtering cellular on main floors, blackout cellular shades in bedrooms, motorized shades on any window you need a ladder for.
Lots of young families. With schools close by and plenty of new construction, Middle Sackville is full of young families. Blackout bedrooms, cordless products and tough fabrics are the most common combination we install here.
Patio doors. Many Middle Sackville homes have a sliding door off the kitchen to the deck. Vertical cellular shades or vertical blinds slide out of the way of the door.
Frequently asked questions
What blinds are safest for a nursery?
Cordless or motorized blackout shades with no reachable cords. They meet and go beyond Health Canada's corded window covering rules and keep the room dark for naps.
Can blinds be installed right after I move in?
Yes. Book your measure as soon as you have keys. Most orders are installed about two weeks later.
What patio door blinds are safest for kids?
Wand-controlled vertical blinds or vertical cellular shades with no reachable cords.
